My grandfather gave me the RSH -899 off his broken Roto-Hoe. I put it on my mini-bike. It had a 5/8 shaft and ball bearing on the crankcase. I remember cleaning the varnish out of the float bowl, and worrying if the two-bolt mounting would be strong enough. Also, I believe one of the base holes was 1/4" and the other 5/16". It was a great motor, it turned out. I thought the spring-loaded oil slinger was cool, too.

do you have any idea what they are worth? I have the ROTO HOE and the attachment Edger with it. Runs and works great. Or any ideas where I can find out?

That is the same motor I have on my ROTO HOE.
Looks like you have some time on that one to make it look so good. Nice job.

Thanks. Yup, I believe I read somewhere that the RSH-899 was built for ROTO-HOE.
