yes there is that to consider basically high end synths like the kronos m3 and virus and the likes have pc like hardware built into them and at least the filters and things are much more presice ask a pro and thou shalt tell u the same!!

hardware is better than software soudn but mind u vsts are PREETY damn close!

@DJBenniboy Really? I thought in terms of sample size and detail, VST's crush hardware. I mean, the most powerful hardware workstation doesn't come close to the powerful computers. So, that's how I always thought of it, computers have more power to run more realistic instruments. And it's much easier to use, especially for MIDI editing and whatnot.
