"Our Bodies, Ourselves" has inspired women's groups around the world to adapt the book and create culturally unique resources based on the text as tools for information and action in their own communities. This panel features women from the United States, Tanzania, Japan and Turkey discussing the impact of the book and the challenges that go into producing it. The panel was part of the Our Bodies Ourselves 40th anniversary global symposium held Oct. 1, 2011, at Boston University.

Panelists include:
- Christine Cupaiuolo, Our Bodies Ourselves (USA)
- Asia Kapande, Tanzania Home Economics Association (Tanzania)
- Gamze Karadag, Mavi Kalem (Turkey)
- Miho Ogino, Doshisha University Graduate School (Japan)
