WOW. That's all I can say here. This is easily the best RR compilation effort I have seen in years. The composition is nothing short of outstanding and the exposure is spot on 100% of the time, not to mention the flawlessness of the editing. What are you editing/shooting on? This is some great stuff, I'll be checking out some more of your work for sure. Oh, and did I almost forget to mention the epicness of all of those meets???

No doubt it's a greath place for any railfan, but to much GE's... if the person want's to see some good EMD's action and lash ups, I beleive that is the wrong place nowadays.

カホン峠へ行きたいです。
24時間で53本も走るという情報もありがたいです。
短時間に大量の機関車を撮りたい。

If you ask me that place looks boring. I like Variety over Volume, from watching this video it seems like all you would be GEVO's and DASH-9's. I'd rather see 1 train with alot of good power than 40 trains with GEVO's.

You have done some great work in the past but this is the best to date. I hope to visit Cajon sometime myself in person. Great work keep it up. Cheers.

excellent overview of cajon pass. i really gotta hand it to you robert, your videos are very professional and truly a pleasure to watch.
Great, superb video like those you usualy make.
what kind place is Cajon, and what makes it so special as your movie shows?
Is it a kind of hub for several railways. and this is the reason for such great activity?
Congratulations. It is always a pleasure to listen the footages you make.

@jflaviovidal Cajon Pass is the mainline for the BNSF Transcon and for many UP Chicago trains in and out of Los Angeles Basin. Tracks were layed by the ATSF early 1900's, its one of the steepest grades in the country, 3 of the mainlines are 2.2% grade while the 4th is a 3% Grade. Train traffic is very heavy, as scene in this video, meets and races are common... while the scenery is stunning, Its just a wonderful spot to railfan.

Great video, well done!
Any ideas on why the BNSF 4419(? engine number?) had to reverse at Cajon summit?
