It was recorded 3-10-1955 in New York , as per the excellent encyclopedia "The Decca Labels" .

It has all the Decca sessions of the label's life, from 1934 to 1973.

For those interested, you can get this recording on the Sammy Davis Jr. compilation entitled "The Definitive Collection" on the Hip-O Records label (Amazon.com). Many AWESOME Sammy gems on that cd including "Too Close for Comfort". Most definitely a worthy investment!
