It does indeed. Bernie & Elton were incredible together- the lyrics and melodies blended together so beautifully.

Definitely one of my favorite tunes from GYBR- what a fantastic album.
'I've seen that movie, too' is also outstanding, and Alice, Grey Seal, This Song Has No Title-- ut oh --think I'm gonna name all the cuts, lol.

@21Mickyman Oh, I'm on a roll! 4. This song was written in 1973, three years before Elton admitted his bisexuality to Rolling Stone magazine! (Yes, he used to be a member of BOTH teams!) So, in 1973, nobody knew what Elton was doing behind closed doors, WHICH, btw, WAS/ IS NOBODY'S GODDAMNED BUSINESS!!! and 5. Would Roy have had approved of this song? Hell, yes! Why? Name me another song that was ever written about him! (Buzzer sounds.) Time's up!

Thanks for putting this together...Loved it! I listened to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road about two weeks ago and I haven't been able to get this song out of my head. Driving my wife & daughter nuts walking around singing it. Hopefully, I can turn that page.
