Another near wipe first kill! HOORAY! US 11th kill on this boss, another kill to be proud of either way. Phase 1 and Lightning phases went perfectly, I think we need to work on frost phases alittle more. We were over enrage by 25 seconds, but that works out to be just a few seconds before the near wipe started.

nice vid, real smooth kill, is that an intended mechanic to walk into the bble during frost phase?

@Dejavu583 Yea, its intended. You get slowed and take 15% of your max health in damage every 1 second. So as long as you get in and out you're fine. I spent alittle too much time in but that'll all change on a 2nd kill. If you walk into the bubble and get dispelled, you don't drop frost patches either, which I believe is also intended as a mechanic. Some things you can do in the bubble are clear glitches, so we wont spread those around ;-]

@darkness1989 Its better DPS. The idea behind it is that you use everything besides rend and OP in Zerker stance. Zerker stance give you an additional 5% damage bonus over Battlestance....so more DPS.

@ParamourX stances are on a different GCD than your normal abilities, so yes. and if you just want to go arms because it's better dps.. they are quite close at the moment, so dont bother (speaking for myself, arms is more fun though)

If you Macro The Stances into OP and MS etc, does it use the Stance and the Ability within one GCD?

I'm thinking of going Arms as it's quite alot better than Fury this patch.

@jiffypop69 I hope it stays like that tbh. It'd be nice to get a change. I guess it's both "OP" and "UP" if you have bad luck. Cheers for the words. :)

But yeah, as I've heard it deals massive damage which makes up for the secondary stats.

I've also heard it scales with UH mastery. Simcraft shows 31(36K?) crit tick which is outright insane.

@Raggysawr The tentacles are insane. Every one that procs does 100-110k+ damage on average. No icd so you can have multiple up at a time, even 2-3 from single target. I'm pretty sure itll be worth more DPS than a heroic 2h from the early bosses, but don't quote me on that until I get some sims going lol.

@jiffypop69 No worries. You're probably a tad better than me. I consider myself good, but I don't compete at higher levels. So I don't have the same amount of pressure.

Anyways, you do some sick hits. I guess it's due to your superior gear. Any word on Gurthalak (spelled correctly?) I know it gives no secondary stats, but I've heard the proc is insane. Any chance for a confirm and a personal comment on it? Cheers! :)

@Raggysawr atm it looks like its competing well. Still too early to tell, need more parses from live raids. Even with, I feel, butchering the rotation...Im tearin shit up as arms.
