The very first in a new set of tutorials for the canon 7D. This camera is the first VDSLR that is compatible natively with avid's 1080 24p profile due to the fact that the canon eos 7d shoots 23.98 natively

  • who uses avid/////old news FCP friend

  • @FIREREADYAIMED until Apple stops updating FCP just liek it did with Shake :)

  • I got a question. I got avid MC, and i imported canon 7d 24fps footage like how you showed in this video. But i get jitters/stutters in the footage when there is a camera pan or fast movement. Did you get this problem?

  • only if you recorded with the shutter speed too high (over 1/50 1/60) of a second

  • this is awesome ... check my video shot in india

canon 7d with 50 mm 1.4 and 17-40 4.0 L and 70-300 canon lenses handheld and without lights

the only lights used were basic tungsten bulbs

  • @Cheaterako2 About 1.5k ;)

  • How much is canon EOS 7D ?

  • @toyoumy88 Most NLE's will render to MPG4. Or use Sorenson Squeeze.

  • @cmosle This is a very common problem with all Cmos cameras. it's from panning too fast as well as having too high of shutter speed. Limit your camera movement and don't pan too quickly.

  • I realize the connection to the term "VDSLR" but suggest "HDSLR" as an alternative that doesn't begin the acronym with "VD".
