2008 Nissan Altima Coupe at LA Auto Show by Inside Line

Built on the same front-wheel-drive platform as the Altima sedan, the 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe is an attempt to inject some life into the otherwise invisible midsize coupe segment.

Nissan figured a good place to start was in the design department, giving the Altima coupe almost entirely new sheet metal. Although it shares some obvious similarities to the sedan, the only shared piece of bodywork between the two is the hood.

Solara- a little bit more reliable, generally cheaper, doesn't require Premium Gas, possibility of convertible

Altima Coupe- a bit more expensive, based of a G35 coupe, people sometimes think you're in a G35 Coupe, more powerful, more fun to drive

My friend just got 1 about a month ago, and the day after he got it.... he hit a high curb under the drivers side door and smashed up the bottom of it and the the step under the door. he just got it back from the shop 2day

Same here was going to get the 6 but the 4 is fast enough for me... The CVT tranny takes some time to get use to but really supplies the extra get up and go... Still getting use to it, I'm always way out in front of all the rest...
