Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik performs his new single "Augie Nieto" on the 2009 MDA Telethon on Labor Day weekend. The single honors MDA ALS Division co-chair Augie Nieto. Nieto was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease in March 2005. He is the co-founder of Life Fitness and current chairman of Octane Fitness. Nieto and his wife, Lynne, have raised more than $20 million for fast-track ALS research through MDA's Augie's Quest. For more information, visit www.augiesquest.org.
