yea it shouldnt break off its a pretty good sized bolt id just tightin it til the crank would start to turn or u could try the starter mayb it worked for me but idk much about the flat head other than rebildin em makein em fast with stroker shit and superchargers etc lol

I keep hearing people say use diesel...I tried Marvel mystery oil and had no luck. I guess I will have to try the diesel. Ill try turning the balancer next time. I would just tighten the bolt until the crank turned, but im afraid of stripping it out.

cuz ur bolt wasnt tight enuff to begin with truck like a big pair of plier or somethign u can get around the crank balancer it shouldnt turn and most ppl wont do this but if u get diesel and pour in each cylinder throu the spark plug hole and let it set for a week or so it will help a lot nt gas diesel

drain all the oil and put in thin oil then get a wrench on the crankshaft bolt then try to wiggle it back and forth till it breaks loose

yea its a 51 3 on the tree bone stock still runs carb need works but other than that its a good truck
