those Kuyrakyn bags are they under your passenger seat or placed on top? How do you like them? Have any issues with the bags at all...I can't decide on what type of bags (hard, fiberglass, Yamaha's bags etc) for my 1300.

nyflnm- I have the touring package also... what did you decide to do? im thinking the double eagles or street pros

dmcconnell0,
Thanks for getting back to me. Looks like the top pipe will be too close to the bag and if I'm not moving the heat from the top pipe & exhaust will melt the bag. I'm going to contact the mfr and see when or if they plan pipes to fit the 1300T. Meanwhile, Happy, Healthy & prosperous New Year to you and family.

Thanks - no support bars needed. They are Kuryakyn Throwover Bags.

I like the Roadburner Double Eagles, I have the 1300Tourer with hard bags. Roadburner does not list the 1300 Tourer nor do they have any stats. Could you measure from the floor to the top of the highest pipe. This will give me an idea if they will be too close to the hard bag. Also, do they extend to the tip of the rear fender? Thanks

Sure I'll check it out for you next time I get a chance. Unfortunately, my bike is in storage currently, but I'll probably get it out for a ride in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know.

@nyflnm I measured the pipes - they are just under 18" from the ground to the top of the top-most pipe. They do not extend to the tip of the rear fender, they go back as far as the tread on the rear tire. Hope this helps.
