@Jeffmeister21 i don't knowthat he ever has any help writing his own material. there is another video somewhere here on youtube where he tells a story about how he idolized george carlin, and wondered how he always had new material every year for a new standup special. it turns out george would do the material he had lined up, then threw the material out, so he would have to start fresh all over again. louis said he modeled his standup after that practice, to ensure he was always writing.
