@JoshRuin9878 What a really fucked comment x 45! Three years on I hope you've matured to the point of regret...

@MustNotRead Wow what must you think of yourself to say this about others!!! Terrible mate...

I know that this is an old video but I would direct you to the website Scoobysworkshop which gives advice on how to work out cheaply at home.
It gives begginer, intermediate and advanced routines as well as a pretty active forum. I don't buy in to the low fat diet bull as I don't believe it is healthy or natural but the other content I found incredably usefull.

Actually, this did encourage me, thanks. I'm spending some time looking up stuff about body building online today, and your experience seeing results in such a short time was encouraging.

GET THE IRON FEVER!!!!!!

Nice one, hope you're still working out. Can't believe the negative comments on here (PS Mustnotread, to call someone ugly and then go on to accuse them of 'buying into' the culture's beauty paradigm is as contradictory as it is hypocritical; those are contingent value judgments).

yea that got me motivated....
-
keep at it matey, good luck to you

do you actually _believe_ that pumping 200lbs weights for 2 hours a day at a gym and running on a hamster wheel are HEALTHY and good for the human body? you think that level of intense gruelling abuse is good for the human body?
get a clue, dumbass.
sad to see such an ugly fucker buying into the mainstream cultural ideal of "beauty and health". it's like putting a 3 legged horse in the Grand National - it can't win!

I've got some questions for ya:
1. Have you been reading anything on the arthurjonesexercise website? Mentzer (an Oist) is great, but Jones came first and when it comes to exercise knew a lot more.
2. How often are you working out?
3. Do you do full-body routines or split routines?
4. How did your first HIT workout feel (I remember mine, it nearly killed me)?
5. How long are your workouts (both in terms of time and # of exercises)?
BTW, every lb of muscle you gain increases...

1. A little but not as much as I need to.
2. Once or twice a week. It depends on my schedule.
3. Full body routines.
4. I think it took over an hour to start to feel like I was recovering from it. I was queasy and breathing a little heavy.
5. I try to keep them between 20 and 30 minutes, and between 8 and 12 exercises.
