UK Arrests: Doughnuts and Water Fights

The British government is doling out some serious punishments to people who took part in the recent riots. Last night we told you about Jordan Blackshaw and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan who were each given a four year prison sentences for creating Facebook pages that "incited" riots. There's also Thomas Downey who's going to jail for 16 months for taking a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts from a store during the riots. Also police arrested a 20 year old for trying to round up people for a large water fight!

@flake452 Of course we're not reporting on all the reasonable, small punishments. Why would those be newsworthy? Are we now in the business of rote reporting of the sentencing of every criminal, great and small? If so, we're WAY behind!

In the US the law is in favor of the criminal as well.

But it should really be either a semicolon or a period, not a comma. Except that the way "Apu" says it on the Simpsons, it is without pause. That is why I wrote it that way. =D
