My...approach...sucks. The ball is being over ran. Most importantly, my vertical is terrible. Arms are barely swinging back. Technique overall needs a lot of work. Passing form is horrendous as well. Ugh.

(I don't have the memory capacity on my PC to store these files. Although YouTube provides a means of free file storage, it's unfortunately at the expense of my low-caliber volleyball being on public display. Gotta take the bad with the good some times.)

  • nice hitting :-) (although I agree with the other comments). On the pass, I'd try to get your butt down further, passing with your legs rather than just with your arms.  Good luck, and have fun! (the other risk with using youtube as storage is that you get lots of comments!)

  • looks like you have alot of power out of the sand and can hit hard... however hitting down hard only looks good in warm ups and the higher you can contact the ball the more you will sideout and the less you will be blocked which = unstoppable on the net

  • i think you should ask for higher sets and/or jump earlier. You always the ball quite late which is equivalent to attacking a short ball ( low ball) but eventually against opponents it should be easier to block. I think you can take it higher. my 2p worth ;)

  • u hit harder than i do on beach.

    nice hits i cant even bounce my balls on beach and it feels like i barely get off the ground.
