The Panasonic HCD-HS300 is better overall, considering is has a wide array of manual options the Sony doesn't.

About the only sacrifice would be the less-capable nightshot on the Panasonic, but that sacrifice would be negligible IMO.

Oh yeah man I'll get some shots up here really soon so you can see for yourself. From what ive seen this camera should be perfect for in car race actually this camera is perfect in every situation low light, day light, fast motion, slow motion.. But i'll get some videos up for you here real soon

I am headed out to the fight so no need for a video camera there. When I get back, that will be my present to myself. And a whole bunch of car goodies! The main use for the camera will be occasional travel but mostly in-car race camera.

I just got mine and so far it's GREAT and thing is there always going to come out with something better its never ending but this camera is great I'd highly recommend
