Rare footage from the legendary Glasgow club night Splash One 1985-86. If you were there you might catch a glimpse of your younger self. The quality of the video reflects the source, an ancient VHS tape. Original video recording by Jim Lambie.

  • Wild and wandering memories there.......

I recognised many faces from Glasgow in the mid-1980's, including myself!!

  • Bloody hell, just saw myself dancing, AWKWARD!

  • song 1 is "satellite" by the sex pistols.

  • @hifisean I mentioned somewhere else but I think he filmed Sonic Youth when they played.

  • @petrocks

no the only footage was made by Jim Lambie if I recall

  • Just spotted 2 ex-colleagues from my days at FLIP (when it was a great shop on Queen St) - fabulous footage!!

  • As soon as I found out about it (not until 1986, alas), I attended every 'happening'.

  • Wish I'd been there - born (very slightly) too late

  • Song 3 is Let's Submerge by X-Ray Spex
