And to follow up, I have a lot of friends in the music industry, all as independent artists. Make a point to find music you care about instead of accepting what is forced down your throats by radio and that shit storm of a music channel, MT(another episode of pregnant teens who don't know how to use a condom)V. Maybe life will bring you the need to search for answer instead of accepting what is given to you! PEACE OUT

What you guys don't realize is that Lucero is right where they want to be. In control of their music, playing venues that are personal, and touring with who they want to tour with. These guys are always on the road, whether in your town or not, but they work their ass off to keep themselves small for their fans. Just because you bitch about never hearing them, go out and buy yourself an independent music magazine and see what else is available. Quit bitching about the radio!!!

I've seen these guys 5 times I think and was lucky enough to hang out with them for a little bit the last time I saw them. I asked Ben if he'd care to smoke a cigarette with me after the show and all the guys joined.

These guys are the most down to earth, real people you'll ever meet. Very cool.
