I may be wrong here, but I believe this song is about the death of Bernard Fanning's brother from skin cancer. My own brother died three days ago and the words in this song resonate so deeply with me. May the immortal souls of the loved and lost find peace in the arms of God, whatever God may be. I miss you so much dearest brother.
