  • does anybody know the date of this preaching..?

i want to listen to the whole thing and im having trouble finding it.

  • My friend preyed for help her whole life and she has had one of the worst lives of the people I've met. It wasn't till after she stopped preying and left the church till her life really got better. One didn't cause the other, I ma not saying her life got better because of leaving church but I am saying Why didn't god help her when she was praying?

  • God is un-manipulatable - you cannot manipulate God - If you ask amiss - you do not receive.

  • The devil is often disguised as a shaved sheep in order to make the sheep shave. (Lev.19:27).

  • Hey 'exalteddirt' - its true one cannot make God a "cuckold" ( a husband who is being cheated on ) - BUT God uses this language over and over again throughout the O.T. and the New. This is basic imagery for any student of the scriptures. ALSO - this man (John Piper ) is pure and simply a gift from God to our time ! God blesses certain times with spriit filled men of God ( from Augustine to Martin Luther to Jonathon Edwards ). Today, God has blessed us with John Piper. Spritually filled.

  • If you can make god a cuckold;what you have is an idol, you are an idolater, and you need to repent because the bible says that no idolater will inherit the kingdom of GOD!

This is Empty,charismatic,pseudo-intellectualism at its finest! This man is spiritually dead!

  • Hahaha

  • who says someone 'gets away with murder'? Who says Jesus taking sin upon himself is a lie? The phrase itself ('reap what you sow') is taken directly from the Bible. :S

  • Then you and your book lie, because as you said some don't reap what they have sown, like you they get away with murder!

  • All reap what they have sown, but Jesus grabs some from the fire and takes it upon Himself.
