Beggining is not out of tune at all, they're harmonizing correctly. The sound balance is what's messed up.

@bway1497 the thing is though, she was sick when i saw it two days ago. she didn't have a good night singing at all. but AWESOME actress from what i saw. she looks a lot different from the youtube videos. she now has medium length blonde hair.

Interesting. Saw this in July of 2010, and Alice Ripley (Diana) now has blonde hair.

I agree that the opening does sound slow and out of tune. I saw the show last month and trust me it is fantastic!
