Rendier, you can't really blame them because our whole society is shallow and immoral. It is all because of the corrupt monetary system we are living in that has created a phoney economy. The banks are the most profitable business not engineering/industrial companies. Now bankers put their money into entertainment like sports. This is a miss-allocation of capital and thus that money is taken away from real businesses. So the men who work hard in factories don't make enough money to compete.
