A Lotte Reiniger inspired dark fairy tale about two children who wonder into a forest and encounter terrors beyond their wildest dreams.
This animation was a contribution between Lisa Jones and Mitchell Goodall for one of their second year practical projects for their animation degree. All settings and puppets were physically made from black card and were shot with a rostrum camera on a light box. Premiere was used to edit the piece together and layer some of the backgrounds.
This animation took about two days to make. But unfortunately during rendering problems occurred so the animation is fairly choppy.
Wow, the last scene was pretty good! Keep it up :)

This is really great - I loved it. Didn't think it was 'choppy' either. Nice one.
