If you use anything other than Linux/GNU for programming you fail. Macs are for psychology, social humanities majors who couldn't tell the difference between 2 and 4 gb of ram.

@Blinkwing "..which to me.." = typo. gold-utilis-disks = illegal compressed CD containing hundreds of full programmes(pre-cracked). Just watched the Build:Keynote speech on Win8 ....I'm impressed.

Mac OS X is a damn stable operating system - no doubt - and it is great for professional work (not only gfx, but also programming (even without Xcode)).
Every OS has it's advantages, let's see what Windows 8 will bring...

@Blinkwing I think you'll find we use gold-utilis-disks because we want quality software and could care less about brushed aluminum .....which to be says 2star mediteranian hotel / building site.
