A working model rollercoaster in what used to be my bedroom. It's built using Meccano and 00 gauge model railway flexi track.
There are three trains modelled on 3 of Arrow Dynamics hypercoasters, the Magnum XL 200, Desperado and the Pepsi Max Big One. The cars are made from laser cut brass sheet, the car bodies from cut high density insulation foam.
There is a working lift hill, two sets of brakes and a vertical transfer track in the station. It is all controlled automaticly by light sensors and 2 Lego Mindstorms RCX bricks.
