KiteCam - Kitesurfing with Whales

The video that got me in trouble : I have been blamed for harassing the whales.
Disclaimer : Although I ended up riding pretty close to them, this encounter was unintentional. When the whales showed up in front of me, it was totally unexpected and I purposely went downwind to avoid them. The 4th whale that swims just below me was too submerged at that time for me to see it.
I have posted this video because I find it spectacular, but it is not intended to encourage anyone to approach the marine mammals.

Great stuff. Would have loved to see that. And like others say, if you kite you're one with water and wind. You don't pollute, kill or damage unlike millions of other water users.

Just another example of rich folks who have more money than brains. I don't see the point of tearing past them and catching a glimps while controlling the thing. Out here on the west coast we see them for hours on end with no contraptions , just a kayak or small dingy floating along.
