  • Did you live in Brighton in 1947? I lived there from 1943 to 1946.

  • @charade97 Hi, I live in Brighton but not born until '54. I realise my username may suggest that, whilse thinking up one I thought of that most immpressionable of films Brighton Rock, starring Richard Attenborough & Carol Marsh and that final where the record gets stuck when Rose played the recording of Pinkie's "love letter" from a make your own record booth. Harrowing, and a brilliant film.

  • Thank you sooo much for posting this...have always loved this song and was sorry that it didn't chart higher. If I recall, it was on an orange-colored album with a western theme...Tommy James on a horse in the desert?

  • There used to be a video of this song, SHE. Tommy wrote this song for his

newly-wed wife and himself, ""SHE loves her man and let's him know, hand n hand, together. SHE - knows she's mine all the time everywhere, all the time . . . . .

  • @starrchild851 - This was Tommy's last top-40 hit with the Shondelles. It entered the chart in late December of 1969 and stayed there for seven weeks getting as high as #23.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Tommy James and the Shondells aren't in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame... it must be fixed...

  • @starrchild851 It's from 1969, post Crimson and Clover.

  • Thanks for posting this one... This is one of the first songs from this group back in late 1967-early 1968 I think.

  • Thank you for posting this! :)

  • @BrightonRock1947 I reads Graham Greene's 'Brighton Rock' many years ago and must admit I didn't recall much. I never saw the film but must if I can find a opy.
