I don't have Bipolar but I am very intrigued of Certain Disorders.. I happen to have ADHD and find that people do not understand disorders relating to the brain. I have been told to focus, to pay attention, to be organized and even told that I wouldn't be able to make it! Crazy things I did and I believe others can. I am on meds and currently dating someone with "Generalized Anxiety Disorder", also I am looking to get my counseling license!!
ER for taking pills with alcohol and cutting myself all allong my arms and leggs... guilt, fear, anger, bursts of fury because of guilt and shame, completely lack of confindence in myself and despair and then more and more guilt and so much shame.... I don't really know if I'm really borderline or bi-polar, cause my dad is bi-polar, but since the cycling is so fast the dostor said it seems bi-polar. Anyway, I've been diagnosed a few moths ago so I don't really know what to think...
simply said, some people have it harder than others. some are responsive, some are submissive, some are ignorant. life is a rollercoaster with no rails, no seat belt. cant let go though.
It was nice hearing someone else say just because you see it doesn't mean it's not there. I usually say "Just because it doesn't show up on an x-ray doesn't mean it's not there!" Good point on you may appear fine now, but 20 min, a day, or an hour a now it could be different.
honestly, what you need to do is do as much research as you can, it is going to take awhile, the more knowledge you have the better. and yes some of the symptoms can be managed without meds, but it takes alot of will to do, and takes alot of discipline to stay on track.
