Washington DC TV station WRC visited Germany and profiled the American Forces Network Europe. This story re-aired in 2003 as part of AFN Europe's 60th anniversary celebration.
Amazing report. I didn't recognize anyone in there, just a few of the buildings and names of places but it was great getting a look at AFN in the 80's. Kane, thank you for sharing it with us!!!
Charlie Gill never retired, he's still over in Germany running productions out of Ramstien last time I talked to him about 7the years ago

Still had the rank of SP5 on a few soldiers. Didn't see Charlie Gill. He's the only news reporter I still remember. I heard he retired a while ago.
