Greatr song indeed! I know that Dutch garagerockers the Ace-Tones did a pretty cool live version of this, app. 10 years ago; they did it a bit faster but with all the Bach-organisms included :-)
This has always been one of my favorite obscure bands of all time. Does anyone know what Benson Blake and Lee Dudley are up to these days? I love their Bob Dylan cover (It Takes a Train to Laugh...). They actually do it much better than Dylan! If you love Phluph, you should check out a similar 60's band, July. Their Dandelion Seeds and Jolly Mary are on youtube.
Please download the whole album. Great psychedelic group from Cambridge,Mass.(Harvard). They were lumped into the whole "Bosstown sound" thing by Alan Lorbor in 1968. The above is one of the best cuts along with; "In her way". I'd say its pretty obvious whom Dr.Mind really was??!!.
Nice to see something up by this band and showing us the cool promo photo!Thereis little in the way in info or photos on these guys. Can someone upload ''Patterns'' as well?
I took lessons from John Pell in college. I brought up Phluph one day and he just started laughing.
