hey man wanted to know something, does the finish on the neck interfere with your speed at playing or is it just a mental thing? i mean you get faster on a satin neck instead of a gloss finish neck? i have a yamaha pacifica 112v which has a satin finish neck and i like it a lot and also lower the action and it's quite fast but know i will probably pull the trigger on a les paul but the neck is gloss finished so i dont know, already tried the guitar and felt good but didn't play really fast on it
