This was the pilot for a tv show; shown on ABC in 1986 in the middle of the summer. TV listing stated that it was not on ABC's Fall line-up. Unfortunately, it was never heard from again. Terrifically funny show with Madeline Kahn in her prime; she left us way too soon. a rare TV-half hour; for 21 years, I've not met anyone else that had this show... until now! enjoy!

  • How i love this woman :)

  • Never heard of this, looks like it would have been a very funny show.

  • It's kinda funny too, how it came to me : Being a huge fan of "Moonlighting" back in the '80ies, I've lately got my hands on the series, so here I am watching it, and Wiilis mentions McLean Stevenson, and i go "DING!". Took less than a minute on a Wiki search to find out that "my" sitcom was "The McLean Stevenson Show". God, this was SO random! :D

  • Thanks so much for the response SMMikey but since u didn't hit that "reply" button I wasn't notified by mail for your answer. Anyway, I came back here, 'cause I remembered my request and wanted to double-check with possible answers, 'cause it seems I finally found about this damned sitcom that has been haunting for so much time :

  • Washcloud:

Are you talking about "My World and Welcome To It?"

  • ...forgot to mention that as far as i can remember, the title was after this main character's name, which i obviously and unfortunately fail to recall

  • Well this was nice. And sure I've seen some much more indifferent and even disturbing sitcoms in my days.

Btw, anyone here knows anything abt one, either of late 70ies or early 80ies, starring a guy that kinda looked a bit like this Coffin guy here? All i can remember is he was a "victim" of his married life, and especially of his mother-in-law who used to always get the best of him with words.

    Been haunting me for years.
