About hip hop music was the 1970s, there have been some type of initial, possibly in the United States. I have listened to pop and rock since the early 1960s, heard the RAP for the first time in the mid-80 because any gang did a cover of Aerosmith.

@oliverecords I HAVE THIS LP ... proud of that!

@MrRonnie54 Hip Hop did exsist in the 70`s.. Kool DJ Herc who is the founding father of Hip Hop did play The Mexican with Babe Ruth at his parties in the Bronx in 1973. The Real Hip Hop DJ`s at the time had no barriers when it came to music. Babe Ruth is thruly a rock band, and not Hip Hop I agree. Back then the DJ`s played what the people got positive vibes from. The music who lifted the people from all the shit they lived in and around in the ghetto.

Saw Babe Ruth at London Poly early 70's and the magic of the band that night mad eit one of the best live shows I have been to in my life. Lapped every minute till the end and missed the last train home. So I slept in train at London Bridge with the buzz of the band still echoing in my ears.....
