**Résumé of dances & scenes for this clip -
1. Cortège nuptial
2. Pas des fleurs de lotus
3. Grand pas d'action -Entrée (it is imprtant to note that the great Anna Pavlova made one of her early performances with the Imperial Ballet in Petipa's 1900 revival of "La Bayadère" as one of the 4 coryphées seen here).
**Note -
This clip contains Petipa's fully restored "Dance of the Lotus Blossoms" for 24 girl students. It is quite the little masterpiece, & makes one wonder why it was ever deleted in the first place.
This clip also contains the first part of the Pièce de résistance: Petipa's original Grand pas d'action, fully restored to its original form both musically & choreographically. Petipa's scheme was much inspired by the Grand pas de trois created by Filippo Taglioni for the original "La Sylphide", in which the heroine is only visible to her beloved.

@SugarTomAppleRoger - oh sorry. My recording cut off at the end of the shades scene, so you woudn't have seen the final scene of that act anyway.
