  • @Tonyr67 My oldest son, who is now 25 became a fan at 9 during the Reunion Tour, and he, like me love any kind of music, as long as it is good Jazz, Funk, Rock, Thrash, College, etc., and we have always maintained that each of the original 4 are very underrated for their chops. Gene loves to use a pick to get rib-cracking tones out of the Punisher or his ol Gibson. As an adult, I learned just how adept a guitarist Paul is, Ace was always God, and Pete's Jazz chops w/ Gene's Bass set the table.

  • @painxtreme ,

And, ofcourse because a lot of people really don't notice exactly what he's doing on most of the songs, makes him one of the most underrated bassplayers!

Gene does know how to play, and he does know how to sing. Most of the time it is Gene who sings the high parts in harmonies. And ofcourse Singer does a great job as well... And that is what makes them great musicians......

  • @MixxMasterKid

    He was never drunk apparently

  • Gene is playing somewhat of a Bassa Nova bass rhythm on this...never caught it before, unless he played it one-off...nice, either way.

  • @smartpantsclub do you remember the guy who had blood all over his shirt and was drunk and kept singing the wrong lyrics during this? You can't really hear him but I remember him weirdly enough

  • @theJchannel89 same, as in there again. I was only 14 we snuck in XD

  • @MixxMasterKid so funny :D I whish I was there ;)
