Its a good adage , don't shit in your own nest, but doesn't globalisation really mean one big nest!!! The term ‘madhatter’ (mercury poisoning is still sometimes referred to as 'Mad Hatter's disease' ) is being resurrected. Perhaps a new term will be coined - *** As mad as a recycler***
Thanks BBC for recording this **in 2007**. Not only does the environment look even more polluted as 2 years ago, strolling around there with cameras is now extremely dangerous because - as you may be able to combine in your (non-lead-contaminated) minds - gangs will chase away everyone VIOLENTLY who films this, not even hesitating to destroy equipment. (Well they're very experienced in destruction anyway aren't they? ;)) The environment in this case.
do we really want to live on a planet where the majority of it is a burning heap of toxic waste? i am sicked by how little thought we put into this. please look into recycling your e-waste before throwing it in the trash.
We must take action! Stuff like this is depressing to watch and if we all help a little then we can be part of a GREAT help in general!

Recycled e-waste ends up in China and India too- Check with the recycling company before you give them your old computer.
