No, it was a joke in the whole show, much like "Cool Hwip" in Family Guy, it's supposed to be soul, but Frank doesn't pronounce it right, even when corrected by everyone.

There's a hole scene (ha) where Charlie is telling him "I feel like you're saying boy's hole... and it clearly says 'boy's soul'"... so regardless of what he's ACTUALLY saying... that's not what the line is supposed to be.

Hence the amusement at it being written 'hole' instead of soul'. -_-
