The presence of Nazi sentiment in the U.S. began in the 1930s, when it served to provide some German immigrants with a sense of kinship with the country they had left behind.
However, after Germany's defeat in WWII, exposed the horrors of the Nazi regime, Nazism in America became a threat America cannot ignore. In this feature-length profile, history traces the story behind the American Nazi Party and the many neo-Nazi parties that are still active in the U.S. today. In-depth interviews with party members reveal why these groups continue to embrace a cause that universally reviled and rejected, while law enforcement officers discuss the challenges involved in fighting the spread of racially motivated crime in America.
This film is full of startling footage and candid commentary, NAZI AMERICA: A SECRET HISTORY offers astonishing insight into Nazi sentiment that continues to exist in the U.S.

@elmolovescookies this is also a good point. the thing about america is, that its never gonna be perfect. we're a band of hypocritical, selfish, misinformed monkeys, and at times, do horrible, horrible things. but humanity as a whole is good. whatever force brought us to exist did not want us to hate and kill and run amok. we're not great sure, but we're not all bad either. i just want people to keep in mind that there are two sides to every story. sometimes more than a hundred sides.

@JonSpencer915 you have a good point. if you're going to commit to something, even something that i don't completely agree with, then you have to do it right, support it with you whole heart, and embrace it as your way of life. the neo-nazis are so scattered, so lost, it makes me want to cry that there are such depraved souls wandering lost in this country.
