Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) vs standard Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller. Tests performed on a Twin Rotor Aerodynamical System (TRAS) by Inteco Ltd. (www.inteco.com.pl). It's a nonlinear, hard-coupled dynamic sixth-order system for control design.

TRAS is similar to Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS) from Feedback Instruments (www.fbk.com)

More on ADRC: articles at IEEE Xplore (ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/), press (blog.cleveland.com/business/2008/09/_thomas_ondrey_the_plain.html) and CSU Center for Advanced Control Technologies (cact.csuohio.edu).
