Tango Alma at Balboa Park, Celebrate Dance Festival

Held at Balboa Park, San Diego, CA every year is the Celebrate Dance Festival.

Eveoke Dance Theatre founded the annual, free Celebrate Dance Festival in 1996 with support from Balboa Park. Eveoke has used many different locations throughout the park, while the 600-seat Casa del Prado Theatre and the outdoor Prado Stage have continued to be the anchor attractions for many festival events. Street performers, photo exhibits, dance classes, workshops and lectures have augmented more then 75 performances during the 4th weekend of August each year.
