  • @ReturnOfTheStienway very true! there are lots of loud bass notes in this piece. the second string i broke in this concert an hour later was the same note, so i ended up with no high A by the end of the program

  • @PhysiqueQuantique Thanks! Yes, great piece! Did you hear the Hétu Ballade and Fantasie (my recordings available) - these are in a more "accessible" style, but just as intense as the Variations.
