Kep and Eric perform a 5" suspension lift on the front end of a Land Rover Discovery 1 using Safari Gard springs and custom Holmquist Engineering front radius arms to correct the pinion angle. This video shows the step by step "How-To" process involved in this lift. The rear end lift is shown in Part 2 of this series.

  • stock shocks? with a 5" suspension lift? whats the point then?

But great "how 2 video" thumbs up! but what about the shock travel?

  • @Sandynutsack The new shocks had not yet been delivered. We hoped nobody would notice. You should win a prize for that. I think you are the only one that noticed. We will be deleting this one and replacing it with an installation of a Tactical Rovers suspension. Stay tuned it will be awesome.

  • Q. So did you guys replace the axles with D2 ax. or are they still the D1 axles? Or what parts are D2 and D1. Thank you really like the videos. Have a '99 D1 SD. looks just like the one in the video.

  • @shagalotoftwat11 All of the parts are D1 parts except the front drive shaft which is from a D2. We will have some great videos coming up with some greatly improved parts. I hope you will watch. What part of the country are you in.

  • First thing, great video!!! Now,I have a Disco 97 and I'd like to lift it 3 inches or maybe 5, can you guys tell me what do I need and how much it would cost ,and where can I get all the parts I need ? oh! and before I forget do you guys sell the parts? I live in GA. Thank you guys, it's a very educational video, now I think I can do It myself...

  • @landies8997 We will be launching our line of products on 1/11/2011. I am really excited about the innovative products we have come up with. I will send you some information when we have everything ready to go. A '97 disco is an extremely capable vehicle and with the right mods they are practically unstoppable.
