Composed and Performed by John Massari
The Original HBO opening for this 1985 TV series. This music you hear in this clip is actually the demo recording. The producers were very satisfied with the demo music, so the demo has been used for ALL the episodes. Please check out the Orchestral version recorded in 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebt_rD...

A tribute to Ray. A few years back when I recorded the Orchestral version, Ray was tickled to get to hear a fine Orchestra perform the theme music to the Ray Bradbury Theatre!

Hey does anyone remember those horror shorts before those shows like Ray Bradbury that were on usa network? I remember the one where that chick is taking a shower, and that clown doll looks at her from underneath the door crack. I think he stabed her tho death! lol. Man that was weird and creepy stuff!

Trilogy of terror? the one with the little native sort of doll with the knife, she traps it in the suitcase and it slices through it and stuff. I think that was the most popular, so there was at least one ridiculous sequel, where they are stuck in a museum with the same doll.

yes, I do! The USA network was so cool back in the 80s and early 90s. That short film you speak of is called "The Dummy," and it's here on Youtube! Click on my screen name; it's among my favorites! Check it out. Good to talk to another child of the 80s who was allowed to stay up WAY past their bed time.

Yeah I know what you meant! Mars is and was about us HUMANS how we dream of going some place different. Then we find out it's unique for itself in spite of US but what really amazing is our DREAMS that brought us THERE.

RAY knew that man, he knew our dreams were wonderful because are nightmares are so real.

Ray stories were NOT smut like so many sci-fir writers but art and philosophy, theology athiesm it's all there! He was the Best!!1

Well, I said Mars because of the Martian Chronicles and how Bradbury addresses death in those stories.
