Not to Touch the Earth - The Doors 40th Anniversary Celebrations at Père Lachaise, Paris

On July 3rd, 2011, people from all over the world gathered together in Paris, France to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Jim Morrison's passing. Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors paid their respects along with many others on a beautiful day at Pere Lachaise Cemetery and capped off the day with a concert at The Bataclan in downtown Paris that night.

Love your documentary, Dean. It was great to meet you and Nicole while there... hell it was great to meet so many people with a love for the music that matched mine and to see that they came from all over the world. It was my first trip anywhere alone, I spent a week there but that week was due to wanting to be apart of that weekend. Always heard how crazy it got at the cemetery around the anniversary of his death, was nice to get to see it for myself. Definitely a trip I will never forget.

Wow! Thank you so much for posting this for all the people who were not able to travel to Paris to celebrate Jim's life & legacy on the 40th anniversary. I hope to be able to visit him someday soon. Great job!
