You are not the only one. Christopher and Lorelai should have ended up together. Honestly I barely watched the show towards the end of the season after they broke them up. Luke was great and all, but Christopher was her true match.

We can say that Christopher's the only man she ever married though. ;-)

And thats what it ultimately comes down to. Thats basically what Lorelai's letter says. This is mainly why I ship Javajunkies. Who would you most put your trust on? Christopher, since introduced in the very first season, has always been a flighty guy. (Just hear me out Chris fans.) He wasn't that close to Rory, as Lorelai states. She always held the door to Rory open for him, but he rarely used it. Not seeing your child is inexcusable to me, unless truly incapable of doing so. Everytime he comes back, he thinks he can just

Lauren agreed - she thought Chris & Lorelai should have been together, On the other hand, Lorelai was an almost-impossible person to live with. Luke put up with her eccentricities and selfishness better than Chris.

@quicksand241 Luke did love her, he bought a house for her, for crying out loud would he do that if he didn't love her?!. She was not settling. She decided on Luke because he loved her!. And Christopher made way more mistakes than just that one.

@quicksand241 she and chris fought all the time when they were married. She wasn't happy, she always knew she loved Luke; she married Chris to try and get over him. She never hated Luke, she was always friends with Luke and then they became more than that, that wouldn't have happened if she hated him.

@quicksand241 He is an arrogant jerk!. He kept butting into Lorelai's life when she was happy and ruining her happiness! And then just when she's happy again he dumps her!. And yes Sherry needed help with a baby but then she abandoned him so he may as well not have gone with her!. And he did forget Rory, he didn't stop to think about the daughter he already had!
