So what do you think of YouTube now? I think they've gone down the toilet just a bit more, to say the least...

90% of YT-users are extremely stupid and passive-minded (a short look at the most popular videos is enough to understand, what I mean - for the other 10% at least).
A better Idea would be to create a similar web-presence without censorship - I give a gasfuck about the "community", I would be perfectly satisfied, when I could upload, watch and write the things, which I like.
(for Germans, YT is extremely censored, btw

Well I wont go on youtube in the next couple of days 19th to 21st, & I'll see what happens after that. But I honestly dont think enough people will stay away from youtube in those days for it to have any effect.

i agree, although trying won't hurt. if this movement has any effect whatsoever, youtube and whatever oranisations that influence it will think twice before stifling the community again. many of the changes that youtube has undergone since google bought (i.e. overpaid for) it have received a ton of negative feedback from youtube users, yet the people who run the site keep plowing right ahead without taking even the most valid complaints into consideration.
