i can't tell... are the 1/18th cars hpi micros, or rc18r's? and i agree with the earlier post that the mini-z would be a better scale race with the slot cars. Or maybe even the NEW 1/24th Losi 4X4 Micro, (probably the rally over the short course version) but i haven't seen either of those run up against a mini-z yet.

The slot car must not transport it's energy and it runs into a rail (curves!) so the race is not really fair for the 1/18 RC car. Push it out of it's rail, that's your only chance... :-)
But nice driving skillz of the 1/18 driver to race a 1/24 Slot Track! Respect!
