The sad thing is how much Don Johnson disliked doing Vice after the first or second season. As huge of a hit as the show was (and still IS), he couldn't wait to get the hell off it. Apparently he just couldn't wait to do motion pictures and become a big star - and we see where that got him. But back then actors didn't do TV, and if they did, it was only because their career had stalled.
Nowadays it's highly popular for even big stars to do TV anymore. Too bad this wasn't the case back then :(

Kinda reminds me of a surveillance we did in Homestead right after Hurricane Andrew. Stuck in the aftermath alone. My girlfriend and best partner had just got married. Times were rough. But the money was great. That was a lifetime ago.
