I hope you find this review on the Temptu airbrush system useful. I honestly do like it. I think it is very easy to use and set up, provides great results in less than half the time it takes to apply foundation in the traditional way and is also very hygienic.

This is the first airbrush system targeted at consumers, and I can see that Temptu have put in a lot of effort to try and make it accessible to makeup lovers. It is a small, simple, sleek design, with a relatively quiet compressor, which would not look out of place on your dressing table. Compared to professional airbrushes it is a fraction of the price, but still pretty expensive (which is my main concern).

Personally, I was planning to put an airbrush system on my xmas list. I feel it is an investment worth making if you are planning to use this on a daily basis as it gives great results and will save you a lot of time- in application as well as cleaning/ maintenance, as there are no brushes involved.

If you are often in a rush before work, but know that you need to look polished, this is a great alternative as not only will it give you an extra 10mins in bed, it also means that if you apply it with a sleepy hand there is less chance of making mistakes. Keep in mind though that airbrushing does not perform the miracles that some people claim and you can get a similar finish with a foundation brush if you put in the time and practise :).

Currently it is only sold through Sephora in the USA, but Temptu are looking to expand internationally in the coming year.

Products featured here:
Temptu airbrush system: $225
Temptu AIR pod foundation in ivory: $55 for 2 (8.5ml each). This is not my shade.
Temptu AIR pod blush in pale pink: $35
Temptu Air pod highlighter in champagne: $35

Dear FTC: As mentioned I was sent this by Temptu for free on the basis that I would review it for my viewers. With such an expensive product I believe it is important to do your research and hear as many opinions as possible. I would therefore like to re-iterate that I am always 100% genuine and honest in all my thoughts and opinions, whether I purchased it myself or it was sent to me for free, and don't do paid reviews. What would be the point? A paid review is a commercial, and if I was a good enough actress I would be trying to bang down the doors of Hollywood, not sitting in my bedroom ;) hehe.

  • Thanks for the Through and thoughtful review. I am a Licensed Esthetician and Makeup artist in San Francisco, and I recommended the Temptu system all the time to clients. I will refer them to this video as well to get an even more in depth explanation! Great work!

  • how did u get this for free? i do alot of peoples makeup and customers ask me all the time. i just always look puzzled, i have worked with airbrush but havent liked any and i am very interested in the temptu.

  • Thank you so much for this video!! I've had the demonstrations and I watched their dvd, but could not for the life of me get my temptu to spray out the foundation!! I tried your 3-5 second pushing the wand into the hole tip and it works now!! im so excited to try to put on my make up tomorrow!!!

  • But ...save your money bb ... You are beautifull without almost same !!! Yiu just waisting cash for the same look :)

  • I'm a guy and I really appreciate this video, I couldn't sleep at all. This helped so much, I was out like a light after listening for a few seconds. So thank you.

  • You looking beautiful ;) How much did you pay your all esthetic surgeries :D :D :D

  • does it make you brake out?

  • Hi! i like your tutorial, just do you recommend to make your eyes first and then put all the foundation? or first the foundation and then make your eyes?

  • how long does one foundation pod usually last?

  • @honeypieamymichelle Hey love Im sorry I just saw your question. I as well have acne prone skin, sometimes worse than others. I went from using a brush application for my foundation to the Temptu. I absolutly love it! I have seen much improvement in my skin and my acne since I have used the temptu. I would recommend using a concealer before applying the temptu foundation. use a foundation or concealer that is oil-free and non comedogenic. If you don't like it, you can always return it to Sephora

  • They have a deal right now on temptu.com where you pay $225 and the machine, 2 foundations, and a free blush - plus free next-day shipping. It makes the purchase hurt a lot less! also if you enter SHAREYOURSTORY at checkout you can get a free concealer. So it's a much better deal than at sephora and I think everyone should go to the actual website because at sephora you pay $225 and NOTHING is included with the temptu machine.
